PACE Spotlight: Markeyta White

Markeyta White BSN, RN is a 2003 Honors graduate from Paul Harding High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Indianapolis and is currently a Registered Nurse. Markeyta has worked in six states within her specialty and is currently a Travel Nurse nationwide on assignment in Texas.  She specializes in Progressive Care, Telemetry, Medical Surgical units which includes caring for cardiac and post operative surgical patients. 

Markeyta has volunteered in various communities throughout the USA including food banks, fun day with the homeless, salvation army shelter/soup kitchens, sickle cell anemia awareness. She has participated in Girls Incorporated inspiring young girls to be smart and successful. Markeyta is a former Black Nurses Association member and mentor of Circle of Nurses mentorship program. She is also an Alumna of Voices of Unity- Unity Performing Arts Foundation.
